How can you not love Cafe Rio?? So good.

Love Cafe Rio! Alas, this location is no good. The serving sizes are small, food is cold and they can't even get drinks right. You're better off eating whatever ya got in your fridge. Don't waste your time and make your way to the Riverdale location!

Rice was undercooked, 1 of the orders was wrong, "Enchilada style/smothered" NEVER had drier "Mexican" burritos IN MY LIFE. Asked for extra lettuce and they seemed to purposely give less than half of the normal serving.. WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN!!!

Always good. Sauce is way better than Costa Vida

Had to wait over an hour for my food for online pickup! They said they were behind, the lady who said it was quite rude about it. They should update the app for times so people don't come and wait for forever. Received absolutely NOTHING for the wait, not a drink, chips, NADA! Not even a sorry!

Extremely small portions compare to other cafe rio locations. Slow! very slow service, as I write this review 45 minutes wait and still no sign of my to go order. I asked a couple if times, they said they are just busy. Will wait 10 more minutes then will go with or without my food. I won’t be back... last time here.Update: its now 8:48 my order was supposed to be ready at 7:30 and ordered about 15-20 minutes before that. Just got my order and left about 10 minutes ago. Open my food and wasn’t my order. I called twice, second time waited for 7 minutes and never was able to talk to anyone. I get I am stuck with someone else’s food and I can’t even tell them since they don’t answer so that the owner of this order doesn’t wait for not. Extremely frustrating at this point. This location is not recommended for any reason. You will be better off going to riverdale or Layton and will save yourself time and grief.

I like the food. Plus one time I had ordered a to go order, sent my husband and was missing something when he came back. No worries, I wasn't upset but we called to have that particular charge removed, they took it off and gave us a really good coupon for the next time too! Wonderful customer service

The people were totally incompetent. I had ordered a pick up order they had stalls for pick up no phone number and there google information was for a general office line. The office transferred me to the store but it rang and rang and no one answered. I finally broke my quarantine and went in. There were 10 employees just sitting around joking, no masks doing NOTHING! Food was marginal.

Last night we ordered through a delivery service and for some reason our order was sent to a location nowhere near us. After waiting forever for our food to arrive, our order was wrong. We contacted the delivery service for a refund and they refused. I reached out to Cafe Rio and through their call center was able to get ahold of Martin at the North Ogden location (which is super close to us). He offered to remake my meal free of charge, even though it was the other location's mistake. I'm laid up after having knee surgery and his kindness made my day!

My favorite restaurant, great food and customer service

Sadly disappointed 😢 All my coworkers at a local hospital were ranting over the half price offer Cafe Rio was giving to Healthcare workers so after a very long day I decided to order two salads for my husband and I. Well, we picked up our food and drove home very hungry! Unloaded the two salads and was shocked at the very half sized portions! Ordered grilled chicken in one and there was one piece! Maybe, big maybe a half cup of lettuce per salad, no rice in the pork salad which we had ordered with extra rice, no guacamole or sour cream on either. So Healthcare workers beware... I’ll have to find out which store my coworkers enjoyed and go there but for North Ogden, very disappointed 😢

Normally good food but I’ve been there a few times recently and my beans were rancid or tasted reheated and my rice isn’t cooked or it’s burnt. They always seem to be in such a hurry that they cut corners. Quality has decreased since it opened here in North Ogden.

The bride and I had planned on getting our Cafe Rio go-to's but the Karen in front of us ordered a tostada and it looked so dang good we decided to try it and it's now both of our new favorites.I also want to give a shout out to the manager or lead (blue shirt). It's 7:30pm on Aug 4th. they had such a fun personality, singing and dancing, chatting up customers in what seemed to be sincere manner. She made the small wait in line much more enjoyable. If they had a name tag I'd drop it!

Ordered online and when i recieved my order, i barley had any rice and beans on my order. They dont have a number to call to this locatiom in North Ogden. This place is a joke and gave me nothing but ice in my drink. Barley had any soda at all. 3 sips and my soda was gone. Totally got ripped off.

Definitely not impressed with the service tonight, we had 2 orders and it said they were both ready so we came in and watched customers that were there after us get brought their food. They brought us one order after about 15 minutes and the second after almost 25. The girl that brought our food was rude and arrogant. Cafe Rio employees are usually really attentive and polite but tonight was a let down on service for sure. I don't know that I'll come back to this one again.

Of fast food this is a great go to! Highly recommend!

We ordered online at 6:30 for our food to be ready at 7:20. We were on time to pick it up and waited about 25 minutes (7:45). I called in to make sure they knew we were there and they said that they ran out of a few items. It was frustrating that not one person walked out and said anything to us. When I asked for a refund they took my card and said they would be right back. 15 minutes later (8:00) I went in to get my card back. As of today they still haven’t refunded our $63.00 and haven’t contacted me to make it right. We have had several occasions during the last few months that our order wasn’t correct but I didn’t say anything because of the current situation. We want to support local businesses but they have to help themselves first. This location is mismanaged and needs some help before we will support them again.

Went to pick up my to go order and there were about 30 angry customers. I went to see if my order was ready and the employees looked like they had no idea what was going on and were so rude.

They consistently forget silverware unless you ask for it, and if you fail to ask for a drink you had in your order they won't even give it to you. That being said, the food is quite good, similar to that of costa vida I would say, and the staff are pretty friendly as well.

This place is great. They give you enough food to feed 2, so worth the price. And they give free food for the kids (only 1 item but still). And their lemonade is amazing so I recommend you to try it out.

The girl who was bringing pickup orders outside around 6pm was incredibly rude from the moment we walked up. I also work customer service during these stressful times and understand not being on your game but there's a limit... She was excessively unprofessional and definitely soured what is normally a pleasant experience for my family.

How is this location still open? Why does this location CONSISTENTLY run out of pork, steak, sauces, CHEESE....how do you run out of CHEESE!? And the guys they had working tonight, good heck, I think you’d find more enthusiasm and ability to work cohesively at the drunk tank in the Ogden jail. I will continue to go to Cafe Rio, but never this location again. I never write reviews, but tonight was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Lack of food choices aside, the service was horrible. Whoever manages this location needs to make some big changes.

I try to support local businesses because it gives jobs to people in the community. But I can't do it any more. To go orders are never right and when I ask them to correct it before I leave most employees act like it's a huge inconvenience. When I've ordered in store it's easy to see the employees don't really care about the service they provide. Tonight's order included two kids cheese quesadillas, not the free nino but the whole meal that's over $4. I think the employee forgot that you have to actually put cheese on the quesadilla in order for it to be a cheese quesadilla! They forgot the chips, which took them 5 minutes to get when I pointed it out they forgot them. They forgot the rice with my tacos and dressing for my wife's salad. No more of this, I'm taking my business down to Costa Vida!

Food was good after I told him how to make it. Customer service and common sense was at a minimum on the serving line the night I was there. I won't be returning.

Not impressed with customer service at this location. Also most often when ordered online, our orders "aren't in the system" or incorrect. We love Cafe Rio, but this location has us rethinking our loyalty...

We love Cafe Rio, except for this particular location. We have tried them twice now and both times have been just terrible. They're salads were smaller both times and both times they screwed up the things we asked to put on the side and add to salad. Oh, and worse, the big guy who comes out to the online pick up parking spots has been terribly rude not only to me, but I've witnessed him be rude to other customers as well. Customer service obviously is not this locations primary concern.

My wife and I really enjoy Cafe Rio. We usually get salads but a burrito or a quesadilla is a treat once in a while. Their staff is very friendly and the food tastes great! Once in a while when something is awry with the order the staff or management always makes it right. The overall good experience keeps us coming back!

It always seems busy but they take care of their customers efficiently and with great customer service. I've only done online ordering a couple times and they got both orders right. Love the food!!

Ordered dinner for our family and every item on the order was wrong in some way. Extras that we paid for through the app like side sauces and guacamole weren't included and special requests like light sauce on a burrito weren't done. Even the order that had zero extras or requests wasn't done correctly (ordered chips and cheese, but we didn't get any pico that's included with the purchase). Next time I'm in Ogden, I'll definitely drive a few extra minutes to get better service.To get an idea of what management thinks about improving their store and service, take a look at the generic owner's replies on the negative reviews. It's always, "we know you can't wait to get your hands on our delicious food..." The management couldn't care less about providing a good meal or a good experience. They're just embarrassing themselves with these replies; what a joke.

Ordered take out, when I came to pick up they said "we're just waiting on queso". Turns out they meant they were out. I only found out because I over heard one of the staff tell another customer they were out. I sat waiting patiently for my food to be ready, for almost an hour! Staff said nothing to me, just kept walking by and looking at me.

2nd time ordering via door dash. Asked for extra pico got zero.. burrito tastes good.. paid $5 for chips and salsa and they literally sent one tiny sauce container with maybe 3 ounces in it. Definitely going to stick with Costa vida

Speedy service, good quality food

The food is good. I ordered a sweet pork burrito. The line was long, but it moves pretty fast. The fresh tortillas are the best.

Waited an hour and a half at the store from the time they said our order would be better for pickup and then they said they hadn't even started cooking our order. We told them to cancel it and they said they couldn't give us a full refund and we had to call customer service because we'd ordered online. Absurd! This location should close. I've never had this level of problem at any other Cafe Rio.

Gave cafe Rio 3 tries and im done! Slowest service ever not to mention eveytime we went they either didn't have something (( go figure tortillas)) or did it wrong. Will not be going back

I have been sitting outside for an hour. The girls bringing out orders keep asking for my name and then going inside. I went inside to see what the hold up was and they let me know that they didn't have my order in the system. I then asked why no one told me to reorder and the gentleman said that he didnt realize that I hadn't been told that and didn't offer any solutions. I am not at all impressed with the service.

My wife waited an hour and forty five minutes. She was told three times the food was being prepared. She was finally told the order wasn’t started and they would not offer a refund. Do not do take out here. Don’t waste your time and money on this Cafe Rio.

Normally there is several people working and you get prompt friendly service, not at this location. It wasn't busy, we stood there for a good 15 minutes before the young lady helped us and I had to repeat my daughter's order 3 times. There were flies buzzing all around our food while I was paying and the woman who was working the register seemed to be annoyed with me as I was waving the flies away from our food. If I hadn't promised my daughter this place as a reward for getting an A on her science test, I would have left. I can guarantee we won't go back to this location. Food tasted... Old? Almost like it had been prepped and stored for over a week. I remember when Cafe Rio first came to Utah and everything tasted fresh. Not now. Hopefully this experience will get the need to eat there out of my daughter's system!

Every time we make a online order it's wrong. EVERYTIME. I love cafe Rio, love the food. This one is hit and miss, you will probably miss and get cold food.

The manager on Sunday was phenomenal, I think his name was Marvin. They were very busy right before close with a bunch of mobile orders all at one time plus a line of people. They took care of us quickly and communicated throughout the whole process.

I love cafe Rio. However, do not order from them right now. We did our online order, showed up at the restaurant to curb side pick up, and have waited for over an hour for our food. Their system does not work. Wait to eat here until they can have dine-in again. We can't leave because we've already paid for our food.

Now I know why I have not been here for awhile. Got the fideo and it was 1 scoop of pasta. It did not even cover the bottom of the to go plate. Are you kidding me?? Last time I ordered the fideo it about filled the container. Maybe 4 pieces of meat. Not a fan

I'm not from Utah but love this place since they have had the spicy hatch chili pork. I love it in the enchiladas with the spicy sauce! Their drinks are also heavenly I love the Utah trend of adding flavors so fun!

Decent price for a full meal. Very nice portions, you will need a nap after eating all this food.
